How to Hide Bookmarks in Your Browser

You can hide the bookmarks box with only a few clicks. But this procedure depends on the internet browser you are currently using on your device. Here’s how to hide bookmarks in your web browser.

Steps to Hide Bookmarks in Google Chrome

•    Go to the Google Chrome browsing application.

•    Tap on the “More” symbol, and it resembles three vertical dots and is located on the upper right-hand side of the display.

•    Now, you will get the pull-down list on the screen.

•    Press on the Bookmarks button, or move the mouse cursor above it.

•    You will get a new window on display.

•    Search for the “Show Bookmarks bar” option.

•    You will see a checkmark near the Show bookmarks bar option.

•    Press on the Show bookmarks bar.

•    Now, the bookmarks taskbar will stop showing on the screen.

•    In case you wish to turn on bookmarks again, then go through the same method and after that, bookmarks bar will start showing on the screen

Steps to Hide Bookmarks in Mozilla Firefox

•    Go to the Mozilla Firefox internet browser.

•    Search for the ‘More’ symbol located on the upper right-hand side of the display, and it resembles a three horizontal lines symbol.

•     Now, you will get a pull-down list on the screen.

•    Choose the ‘Library’ option. 

•    You will get a new window on display.

•    Press on the ‘Bookmarks ‘option to display the bookmarks window on the screen.

•    Choose the  ‘Bookmarking Tools’ option to get the bookmark settings window.

•    Tap on the  ‘View or Hide Bookmarks Toolbar’ option.

•    In case the bookmark list is showing on display, then it will automatically it from your desktop.

Steps to Hide Bookmarks in Opera

•    Open the Opera browsing software.

•    Open the Opera drop-down menu located in the upper left-hand side of the display. It resembles a red color “O” symbol.

•    Search for the ‘Bookmarks’ option by going to the pull-down list.

•    Move the mouse cursor above the ‘Bookmarks” option.

•    Tap on the bookmark option.

•    Now, you will get the bookmark window on the desktop.

•    Choose the ‘Show bookmarks bar option.

•    In case you see the checkmark near the Show bookmarks option, then the bookmark bar is showing on the screen.

•    Press on it so that you can unselect it.

•    Now, the bookmark bar gets hidden.

Steps to Hide Bookmarks in Safari

1.    Go to the Safari internet browser.

2.    Press on the ‘View’ option provided on the upper side of the screen.

3.    Now, you will get the pull-down list on display.

4.    Search for the  ‘Show or Hide Bookmarks Bar ‘ option and after that,  tap on it.
