Email

The new security updates include Slipstream Protection. There are few ports that were blocked in the last updates. Some people had a problem with some of the ports being used for attacks. For example, last month, port 554 for HTTPS, FTP, HTTP for server connections were blocked.

In the current updates, port 10080 is also blocked for the same reason. That is because of the NAT Slipstream 2.0 attacks. This is to reduce the possibility of such attacks happening in the future.

Other Updates

Most of the other updates are Developer related stuff.

  • QuickTransport is now WebTransport
  • Web Assembly SIMD is available to all users.
  • Refresh form elements are now on Android.
  • You can define different icons based on media queries.
  • You will get different icons for both offline and online modes.
  • Suggested names for File System Access API.
  • Show file picker options.
  • Reading files from the clipboard.
  • Share Credentials on Affiliated Sites.

How To Update Google Chrome

You can apply an update in Google Chrome via these simple steps.

  • Open the Chrome Browser.
  • Click on three dots in the upper right corner.
  • Select Help option.
  • Now click on Google Chrome.
  • Yee can see the version name on the window.
  • If it is not the latest, click on update.
