HOW TO FIX MOUSE ZOOMING INSTEAD OF SCROLLING ON WINDOWS 10

  • Test the Control key
  1. Click on the Windows and R keys together.
  2. It will launch the Run prompt menu.
  3. In the search bar, enter the ‘osk.’
  4. Click on the Enter button.
  5. It will launch the On-Screen Keyboard utility option.
  6. In case it is not working properly, the best way to block the zooming behavior of the mouse is replacing the system keyboard.
  • Turn on the Pinch Zoom

  3. Enter “control” in the search bar.

  13. Unselect the checkbox linked with the Enable Pinch Zoom option.
  14. Start the system again.
  15. Check if the error is fixed at system startup.
  • Turn off the Zoom on Roll with Intellimouse
  1. Launch Microsoft Excel.
  2. Go to the File option,
  3. For this procedure, you need to use the ribbon box at the upper side of the screen.
  4. After going in the File option, find the Options button.
  5. It is located in the left-hand end column of the display.
  6. After going in the Microsoft Excel Options display, choose the Advanced Menu option.
  7. It is located on the left corner of the vertical menu.
  8. Once you have chosen the Advanced or Editing option.
  9. Go to the right corner of the screen.
  10. Unselect the checkbox linked with the Zoom option.
  11. Press on the OK button.
  12. It will save all the changes you have done.
  13. Start the system again.
  14. You need to check if this error is fixed or not.
