All You Need to Know About the Upcoming Ghost of Tsushima Update

 Developed by Sucker Punch Productions, Ghost of Tsushima is an adventure game for PlayStation 4. It follows a samurai who is determined to protect the Tsushima island from the Mongol Invasion. Despite inconsistencies in its characters, the game still manages to hold on to the attention of players- thanks to its strong storyline, graphics, sound etc. Recently the developers of the game have announced that on October 16, update 1.1 will be made available. The upcoming update is going to add a ton of new content which includes the much-awaited Legends Multiplayer Mode. 

In their PlayStation Blog post, Sucker Punch Productions have gone into details about the content in the latest update. The game features two-players mode and also a four-player survival mission. You’ll be required to download the Legends unlock from the PlayStation store after you are done installing Ghost of Tsushima 1.1 update. To play with others, you need to have an active PlayStation Plus subscription without it you won’t be able to play with other players. 

 The game has taken inspiration from Japanese mythology, and the invasion by Mongol has been masterfully created, which gives the players deep immersion and helps them connect with the characters. However, this one has a character that is created by the players themselves, unlike the main game, which features Jin. There are four classes from which a player can pick. It includes – Samurai, Assassin, Hunter and Ronin. In the mentioned options, Ronin is the only one with an extraordinary power to summon a spirit dog that one can pet. The players will then go on to unlock all the other classes, but at the beginning, they will have to choose from one of the mentioned classes. 

Sucker Punch has already announced that in Legends that there won’t be microtransactions and players can unlock more powerful gear by completing difficult challenges. It will be packed with the latest cosmetics, and as players gain experience, new techniques will be unlocked.

Apart from Legends, Ghost of Tsushima 1.1 will also include New Game+ mode. This new addition allows you to play the entire game all over again but with the gears, techniques and items that one might have earned in the last playthrough. However, the New Game+ will also have some extra elements that were not there earlier. Like New charms, new flowers that are known as Ghost Flowers and a unique horse that has a special saddle and a flamboyant mane. The Ghost flowers, however, are quite useful as they can be used to get armor dyes in exchange.
